Integrating Regional Associations with the National System
Workshop was held June 11-13, 2003
Portland, Maine
Goals:
- Introduce DMAC, the Ocean.US Data Management and Communications plan (www.dmac.ocean.us) to regional associations and federal partners, to better understand its implications for these organizations.
- Identify "stumbling blocks" and identify solutions for achieving the vision for DMAC.
Identify next steps/actions to be taken by regional associations, agencies, Ocean.US, DMAC, and others. - Identify linkages between IOOS and the US Commission on Ocean Policy.
